About The Position

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC. is seeking a Vice President, Sales in New York, New York to Meet with external clients to present new advancements and collect feedback on the Firm’s product line. Formulate and validate strategy improvements to meet client needs. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to deliver necessary and requested improvements and new products. Produce quantitative analysis of the market performance of trading algorithms. Maintain up-to-date knowledge with other financial actors to maintain up-to-date on industry trends. Responsible for the global ownership of liquidity-seeking trading algorithms to support the Firm’s Electronic Trading franchise.

Requirements

  • Master’s in Financial Engineering, Computational Finance and Computer Science, or a related field
  • Five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as an Algorithmic Trading Developer, Software Developer, or related role.
  • Five (5) years of experience with Trading Systems
  • Five (5) years of experience with Trading Cost Analysis
  • Five (5) years of experience with Equity Market Microstructure
  • Five (5) years of experience with Strategies including VWAP, TWAP, POV, smart order routing, market making, and statistical arbitrage
  • Five (5) years of experience with Data Analysis in KDB and Python
  • Five (5) years of experience with Technology Project Management
  • Five (5) years of experience with Systems Architecture and Governance
  • Five (5) years of experience with Bridging trading, quant research, compliance, and engineering teams
  • Five (5) years of experience with FIX protocol
  • Five (5) years of experience with Market Data architecture and design
  • Five (5) years of experience with Exchange Connectivity
  • Five (5) years of experience with Low-Latency Software and Hardware
