About The Position

DuraServ is seeking a Vice President, Sales & Service who is an operational leader focused on driving branch performance through people, process, and discipline, rather than personal sales quotas. This role is responsible for managing the overall performance of a branch, which is treated as a business within a business, including its P&L, sales team, service team, customer base, and operational infrastructure. The Vice President will set direction, develop people, manage financial performance, and ensure high standards in sales execution and service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building teams, cultures, and P&Ls that have shown positive movement due to their decisions.

Requirements

  • Proven operational leader with experience running a P&L.
  • Experience building teams, coaching underperformers, and creating cultures of accountability and results.
  • Sound business decision-maker, using market knowledge, financial data, and customer intelligence.
  • Customer relationship leader, engaging at the senior level and resolving escalations.
  • Operationally fluent, comfortable managing inventory, facilities, scheduling, and compliance in a multi-function branch environment.
  • Excellent communicator across team, customers, vendors, and regional leadership.
  • 5+ years of combined B2B sales and operational leadership experience, with a background in industrial or distribution services required.
  • Previous experience managing sales professionals is strongly preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall branch operations, including sales execution, service delivery, staffing, training, inventory, facilities, and financial controls.
  • Monitor and drive branch financial performance to achieve sales, growth, and profitability targets, owning the P&L, forecast, and outcome.
  • Provide input to strategic decisions affecting the branch and participate in budget development with regional leadership.
  • Maintain and apply current knowledge of markets served, customers, vendors, and competitors.
  • Directly lead the branch sales team, setting targets, coaching performance, and building a culture of accountability and results.
  • Lead quoting, scheduling, and job execution to ensure service work and projects are delivered safely, on time, and within scope.
  • Build and manage customer relationships that drive satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Enforce safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across branch operations, including routine field and warehouse audits and corrective action follow-through.
  • Lead the service team through subordinate managers and directly develop the sales professionals.
  • Coach and develop the team on technical skills, sales skills, and professional standards.
  • Ensure staffing levels, training cadence, and performance management practices keep the branch operating at full capacity.
