About The Position

As VP, Sales – MedTech, you will own Hippocratic AI's commercial relationships with the world's largest medical device and MedTech accounts. You will lead strategic enterprise sales cycles from prospect to close, driving the company toward its growth goal for 2027. This role sits at the intersection of enterprise sales excellence and cutting-edge healthcare AI, requiring a leader who can navigate complex, multi-stakeholder organizations while closing strategic deals at scale. You will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and partner closely with Product, Clinical, and GTM teams to land and expand AI-driven patient engagement solutions across the Medical Device and MedTech vertical. This is a field-first, hunter role — comfortable owning accounts from cold outreach through close. Travel expectations; 20-40% within the U.S.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required and advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of enterprise sales experience, with 5+ years selling into devices or MedTech accounts.
  • Demonstrated track record closing large ($1M+) enterprise deals at Med-Device or Med-Tech organizations.
  • Experience selling consulting, SaaS, or AI solutions requiring creative structuring and solution design.
  • VP-level enterprise seller with a quota-carrying history at ~$3M+ ARR per year.
  • Strong communication skills — ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Commitment to safety, ethics, and patient-centered outcomes.
  • Intellectual curiosity and mission alignment.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong analytical skills; IB or management consulting background a plus for ROI modeling and use-case depth.
  • Existing executive relationships at tier-1 device companies.
  • Familiarity with AI, digital health, or data-driven patient engagement platforms in MedTech settings.
  • Startup, scale-up, or regulated-industry experience in a high-growth healthcare technology company.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic enterprise deals with tier-1 device makers, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
  • Partner with Product and Clinical teams on Med-Device and Med-Tech use cases. including patient onboarding, device adherence monitoring, and post-procedure support.
  • Develop structured ROI models and business cases for MedTech buyers using an analytical, consulting-style sales approach.
  • Maintain rigorous pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and CRM discipline.
  • Represent Hippocratic AI at Med-Tech industry forums, executive briefings, and key conferences to build pipeline and thought leadership.
