About The Position

As a member of our Executive Leadership Team, the Vice President, Sales & Distribution, is the architect of our overall distribution strategy. You will lead the transformation of a multi-channel environment, accelerating digital capabilities and brand presence while strengthening agency and broker partnerships. In this senior executive role, you are accountable for the cohesive performance of Agency Operations, Broker Distribution, Digital Development, and Marketing. By working closely with underwriting, product, and technology leaders, you will deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our members and partners across Alberta.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience within insurance or financial services.
  • Significant responsibility in sales, distribution, or broker management.
  • Proven track record of leading multi-channel strategies and delivering sustained revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products, underwriting dynamics, and the regulatory landscape.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Experience with AI-powered tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, and similar platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the enterprise sales and distribution strategy to ensure alignment with corporate growth and profitability objectives.
  • Provide executive leadership over insurance marketing, overseeing high-impact customer acquisition initiatives and retention.
  • Lead the broker distribution strategy, strengthening engagement and productivity with Alberta-based broker partners.
  • Oversee agency operations to ensure strong governance, compliance, and operational scalability across the channel.
  • Drive the development of innovative digital sales platforms and broker tools through partnership with IT and product teams.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and accountability while building strong cross-functional partnerships as a mentor to high-performing teams.
