About The Position

LMCU is looking for a VP of Regional Mortgage Production who will be responsible for leading and developing a dynamic team of Loan Officers accountable for over $500 million in annual mortgage production. This position is responsible for business development, coaching, and recruiting new talent to LMCU. It is important to be the visible leader in the West Michigan marketplace with builders, realtors and the mortgage industry. This role is responsible for maintaining internal and external relationships with all staff, superior service and delivery of investment quality production.

Requirements

Five years to eight years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
A college degree.
Active registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) on the NMLS site.
Must renew your registration each year and update when changes to name, address, etc. occur.

Responsibilities

Leads, supports, and helps staff achieve their production and financial goals.
Develops and implements effective business plans to achieve company growth objectives.
Delivers effective client presentations to solicit, develop, and manage prospective accounts.
Recruits, trains, and develops highly motivated sales and service-oriented loan originators.
Leverages company resources to maximize member value.
Builds strong relationships with consumers and referral sources, including real estate agents, builders, financial planners, and other industry partners.
Works within a strong and growing team environment, supporting organizational goals.
Participates in staff education of mortgage sales, product, and pricing.
Assists management by maintaining accuracy of pipeline data and tracks business unit's progress with system reporting.
