Vice President Product/Transformation Program Manager

JPMorgan Chase & Co.•Charlotte, NC
•$109,250 - $168,000

About The Position

Join JPMorganChase’s Client Onboarding and Service (COS) Product & Transformation team as a Vice President leading high-priority initiatives to improve client service and operations at scale. The role translates strategic priorities into executable programs, designs future-state operating models, and aligns business, product, technology, controls, and operations partners around shared outcomes. This hands-on leadership role has end-to-end accountability—from defining problems and developing business cases through design, delivery, implementation readiness, change enablement, and value realization. The successful candidate combines strategic thinking, structured problem-solving, executive communication, and disciplined execution; navigates ambiguity, constructively challenges established approaches, and remains accountable for measurable outcomes. The role also represents the Product & Transformation organization as an enterprise-minded leader who sets direction, exercises sound judgment, develops others through the work, and turns complex challenges into scalable solutions and measurable value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of relevant experience in transformation, strategy, management consulting, program management, product, or operations within a complex organization.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional programs from an ambiguous problem statement through implementation and measurable outcomes.
  • Exceptional structured problem-solving skills, including synthesizing qualitative and quantitative information, evaluating options, and developing practical recommendations.
  • Executive presence and strong influencing skills, with experience aligning senior stakeholders and driving decisions across matrixed teams.
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills, including building compelling storylines, simplifying complex topics, and creating polished, decision-oriented executive materials.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data and performance measures to identify insights, shape priorities, and monitor value realization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the judgment to tailor messages for executive, business, product, technology, controls, and operations audiences.
  • Disciplined program leadership experience, including governance, integrated planning, dependency management, risk and issue resolution, change management, and executive reporting.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining attention to detail, sound judgment, and accountability for results.
  • Proven ability to build trust, challenge constructively, and achieve outcomes without direct control of resources.

Nice To Haves

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or another relevant advanced degree.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile, Lean Six Sigma, change management, or comparable transformation credential.
  • Experience in financial services, client onboarding and service, operations, product delivery, or another regulated environment.
  • Exposure to or understanding of payments, treasury services, merchant services, or related products and business processes.
  • Experience designing future-state operating models, simplifying end-to-end processes, or leading organization-wide change.
  • Experience applying artificial intelligence, automation, workflow, analytics, or digital capabilities to improve business outcomes.
  • Previous management consulting or internal strategy experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives end to end, establishing scope, governance, milestones, decision rights, risks, dependencies, and measurable outcomes.
  • Translate business priorities and objectives and key results (OKRs) into sequenced roadmaps, executable plans, and practical operating-model changes.
  • Assess current processes and pain points, identify opportunities, and design standardized, scalable processes and operating models, including documented alternatives for specific client or business needs.
  • Develop fact-based problem statements, options, business cases, impact assessments, success measures, and recommendations to support leadership decisions.
  • Coordinate dependencies across business, product, technology, controls, and operations; surface trade-offs, resolve barriers, and sustain momentum across parallel workstreams.
  • Align senior leaders and matrixed partners without relying on direct authority, building trusted relationships while maintaining accountability for decisions and commitments.
  • Create concise, decision-oriented executive presentations and updates that communicate strategic intent, business value, roadmaps, risks, dependencies, decisions, and change impacts.
  • Partner with business and change teams on pilots, testing, implementation, communications, training, adoption measurement, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify practical opportunities to use artificial intelligence, automation, workflow, analytics, and emerging technologies to simplify work, improve decisions, and enhance client and employee experiences.
  • Develop reusable methods, playbooks, governance standards, and lessons learned to improve consistency and effectiveness across the transformation organization.
  • Anticipate cross-program impacts and focus leaders on key decisions; create structure and momentum when the path is not fully defined.
  • Measure success through business outcomes, sustained adoption, and realized value rather than activity completion alone.
  • Set direction, exercise sound judgment, develop others through the work, and represent the Product & Transformation organization with credibility.
