The VP of Portfolio and Wealth Advisory is a senior member of the Advisory team responsible for day-to-day client portfolio management and monitoring including asset allocation, performance, and trading activity. This person must be collaborative, team-oriented, energetic, and willing to provide the highest level of client service maintaining the utmost in ethical standards. Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families with a strong emphasis on client service
  • Familiarity with various aspects of portfolio management, tax efficiency and trust and estate planning, and alternative investments
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment and to become an integral part of existing client relationship teams
  • Highly motivated, extremely ethical, and professionally mature

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day client portfolio management and monitoring including asset allocation, performance, and trading activity
  • Liaise with your clients’ team of external advisors (e.g., attorneys, tax accountants, etc.) to deliver integrated advisory services
  • Provide pro-active client coverage that may include discussions on market trends, changes in tax law, trust & estate matters, and other issues as they relate to a client’s overall wealth management plan
  • Manage the client meeting process including initiating and coordinating agendas and materials with senior team members and developing junior staff’s work product
  • Participate in client meetings with a focus on creating meaningful change
  • Act as a resource to other members of the firm by contributing to internal meetings regarding the firm’s strategies and offering your thoughts and suggestions
  • Assist new clients in defining investment goals as they transition into our firm
  • Nurture relationships with various service providers that may offer benefits to our client base
  • Contribute your insights to the sales and marketing process as it relates to prospective clients
