About The Position

The Vice President of Operations at DHL Supply Chain will drive commercial results and operational excellence within their area of responsibility. The role supports the organization's growth agenda by developing pipeline strategy, engaging in new business pursuits, and participating in deal architecture to help ensure delivery of promised returns. It also translates organizational strategies so operations teams understand, align with, and are motivated by the organization's direction.

The position contributes to the executive leadership group in setting the business's vision, strategy, and agenda. It oversees operations across a wide geography, a diverse customer base, and a large team of leaders, while developing and implementing regional strategies for customer accounts in the assigned geography. The Vice President is accountable for maintaining a safe, productive, results-driven environment and for negotiations, contract adherence, and successful execution of Business Continuity Agreements (BCAs).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10 or more years of management experience.
• 7 or more years of distribution or warehousing experience.

• Third-party logistics experience.
