About The Position

As Vice President of Operations at DHL Supply Chain, you will drive commercial results and operational excellence within your area of responsibility. You will support the organization’s growth agenda by developing pipeline strategy, engaging in new business pursuits, and participating in deal architecture to help ensure the business delivers its promised returns. You will translate organizational strategies so operations teams understand, align with, and are motivated by the organization’s direction. The role contributes to executive leadership and oversees operations across a broad geography, diverse customer base, and large team of leaders. DHL Supply Chain North America operates more than 500 facilities, employs over 50,000 associates, and has more than 150 million square feet of operational space.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
10+ years of management experience.
7+ years of distribution or warehousing experience.

Nice To Haves

Third-party Logistics experience.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the executive leadership group in setting the business’s vision, strategy, and agenda.
Oversee operations across a wide geography and diverse customer base, managing a large team of leaders.
Develop and implement a regional strategy for customer accounts within the assigned geography.
Ensure a safe, productive, and results-driven environment through effective management and a commitment to excellence.
Navigate a changing marketplace with multiple priorities and diverse customers, vendors, managers, and associates.
Manage negotiations, contract adherence, and successful execution of Business Continuity Agreements (BCAs).
Develop pipeline strategy, engage in new business pursuits, and participate in deal architecture.
Translate organizational strategies so operations teams understand and align with the organization’s direction.
