About The Position

Citco is a market leader in the asset servicing sector, with a pioneering spirit that guides its innovation and expansion. The Fund Administration business is core to Citco, and its alternative asset and accounting service is highly respected. Strategic Operations is a dedicated function within Private Assets, responsible for transformation delivery, project execution, business analysis, operational initiatives, and implementation support. This group is divided into three focus areas, one of which is Operating Model, Product & Client Solutions. This area defines end-to-end service operations, shapes scalable products and solutions, supports complex client implementations, and ensures client commitments are operationally deliverable. The group collaborates closely with Operations, the Transformation Office, IT, Tactical Operations, and Marquee Client teams. Roles can be permanent or approximately 12-month rotational assignments.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in private assets accounting or operations within a fund administrator, fund manager, or comparable environment.
  • Hands-on experience in process improvement, system implementation, or project delivery.
  • Strong technical knowledge of private assets processes, including general ledger, capital activity, fee and waterfall calculations, financial statements, and investor reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interrogate data and support recommendations.
  • Client-facing confidence and ability to clearly explain operational constraints.
  • Project management skills with attention to detail and a proven ability to multi-task.
  • Confidence in engaging with both operational teams and technology partners.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with reporting, workflow, or automation tooling.
  • Professional accounting designation is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver operating model and product change from problem identification through testing, deployment, and adoption.
  • Document current state processes, identify root causes, and design target state processes.
  • Build the business case for change by quantifying effort, risk, and benefit.
  • Write and agree on business requirements with IT, the Transformation Office, and relevant focus areas, supporting them through build and delivery.
  • Design, plan, and execute testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and manage defect resolution to sign-off.
  • Contribute operational input to client pitches, Proofs of Concept (POCs), and presentations, translating client requirements into operational designs.
  • Support the implementation of fund structures, new client setups, complex client transitions, and onboarding onto accounting platforms with Client Integration.
  • Work with Operations teams to ensure change is understood, trained, and adopted.
  • Assess opportunities for redesign or client solutions to be applied more widely and document the business case.
  • Produce project documentation, status reports, and ad hoc analysis as required.
