About The Position

Spring Oak Senior Living is seeking an experienced Vice President of Operations to join our executive leadership team and help lead the continued growth and performance of our organization. Spring Oak Senior Living is a family-owned senior living company operating 16 communities across multiple states, with continued growth ahead. We are focused on building strong community leadership teams, maintaining high standards of care and service, and operating communities that residents, families, and employees can trust. This is a key executive leadership role for a seasoned senior living operator who can lead teams, drive results, strengthen operations, and help guide a growing multi-state portfolio. The Vice President of Operations will oversee performance across Spring Oak Senior Living’s communities, working closely with ownership, the Executive Team, and community leadership to drive strong operational, financial, sales, and care outcomes. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, field-focused senior living operator with strong multi-site leadership experience, sound business judgment, and the ability to develop leaders while holding teams accountable for results.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of regional or multi-site operations experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, or a related healthcare setting.
  • Proven ability to lead Executive Directors and community leadership teams.
  • Strong understanding of census development, financial performance, labor management, budgeting, compliance, and quality assurance.
  • Ability to partner effectively with clinical, sales, finance, HR, and ownership.
  • Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with ownership, executive leadership, community teams, residents, families, and external partners.
  • Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Executive Directors and community leadership teams across a growing senior living portfolio.
  • Drive operational performance, census growth, financial results, resident satisfaction, and team accountability.
  • Partner with sales and marketing leadership to strengthen occupancy, referral development, and local market performance.
  • Work closely with clinical leadership to support high-quality care, regulatory readiness, resident safety, and service standards.
  • Monitor labor, expenses, revenue, budget variances, staffing structure, and overall community performance.
  • Identify operational challenges and implement practical, timely solutions.
  • Partner with HR on staffing, retention, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Support resident and family satisfaction by ensuring concerns are addressed professionally and promptly.
  • Help lead company-wide initiatives, operational improvements, acquisitions, integrations, and growth-related projects.
  • Maintain regular visibility in the field through community visits and follow-up with local leadership teams.
