About The Position

Got Game Camp is a leader in youth programming, offering innovative summer camps, enrichment classes, and physical education programs for children aged 4 to 12. Our mission is to foster growth, learning, and fun for children through exceptional experiences. Got Game Camp partners with schools throughout the year to deliver after-school programs, enrichment classes, and innovative physical education curricula. The Vice President of Operations will work closely with the CEO to lead all operational, strategic, and financial aspects of the organization while ensuring day-to-day excellence. This role is integral to scaling Got Game Camp to the next level. Reporting to the Founder & CEO, the Vice President of Operations will be a hands-on leader responsible for overseeing all facets of Got Game Camp’s operations. This includes managing business functions, logistics, technology, curriculum development, sales, and financial performance. The Vice President of Operations will provide strategic direction while also engaging directly in daily operations to ensure excellence across programs. This role offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $105,000 annually plus health insurance, paid time off, travel allowance, and professional development opportunities. This executive-level role requires a dynamic leader who excels at both strategic oversight and tactical execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in operational leadership roles, ideally within youth programming, camps, or a related industry.
  • Proven success in scaling operations, managing budgets, and driving organizational growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and manage diverse teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities with a focus on solutions and results.
  • Proficiency in technology solutions, systems integration, and process automation.
  • Willingness to travel within the Los Angeles areas with occasional travel to other Got Game locations in Colorado.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial performance, including budget management, forecasting, and reporting to ensure organizational sustainability.
  • Collaborate with the CEO to execute strategic initiatives aimed at growth and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate success across programs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, school administrators, community partners, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals and values.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations relevant to youth programming.
  • Develop strategies to break into new markets, utilizing storytelling, social media, and community engagement to drive brand visibility and enrollment.
  • Lead the planning and execution of logistics for all camp locations and year-round school-based programs, including resource allocation, scheduling, and facility management.
  • Develop and implement technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency and streamline processes, including integration with registration systems, payroll, and communication platforms.
  • Leverage AI and automation to optimize administrative tasks, program delivery, and customer service functions.
  • Create scalable systems to replicate and improve execution while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ensure seamless communication between technology systems and on-the-ground operations.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to camp directors, program coordinators, and other team members.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide actionable feedback to enhance team performance.
  • Scale teams effectively to meet organizational needs and market demands while maintaining Got Game Camp’s core values.
