About The Position

Elements Financial is seeking a Vice President of Marketing & Brand Strategy to lead the development and execution of integrated marketing, brand, communications, and member engagement strategies. This role is crucial for driving growth, deepening member relationships, and expanding market awareness. The Vice President will serve as the steward of the Elements brand, partnering across the organization to support household acquisition, relationship growth, community expansion, and strategic business objectives. The position involves leading enterprise brand strategy, overseeing various marketing channels, directing market research, guiding agency relationships, and acting as the marketing subject matter expert for executive leadership. A strong understanding of the credit union's functional areas and financial drivers is essential for making strategic decisions. The role also focuses on developing member-centric strategies for engagement and retention, leading lifecycle marketing, ensuring consistent brand experiences, and partnering on organizational culture initiatives. Additionally, the Vice President will drive business growth through partnerships with Business Development, supporting specific financial services like Private Client and Wealth Management, leading acquisition efforts for expansion, and developing youth engagement strategies. Leveraging analytics, CRM, and automation to enhance marketing performance is key. Continuous professional growth is encouraged through maintaining expertise in financial services marketing and evaluating industry trends. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive marketing, brand, communications, or growth leadership experience.
  • Proven success leading integrated marketing strategies that drive measurable business growth.
  • Experience with brand strategy, digital marketing, communications, analytics, CRM, and marketing automation.
  • Financial services experience preferred; credit union experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise brand strategy, positioning, messaging, and market differentiation.
  • Oversee advertising, digital marketing, content, public relations, social media, sponsorships, and communications.
  • Direct market research, member insights, competitive intelligence, and brand awareness initiatives.
  • Guide agency relationships, media strategy, campaign execution, and reputation management.
  • Serve as the organization’s marketing subject matter expert and advisor to executive leadership.
