The Vice President of Marketing collaborates with the General Manager and Executive Team on the strategic development, direction, and implementation of all marketing activities. This includes database marketing, direct mail, sales, advertising, casino marketing, public relations, and promotions/events. The role involves creating and managing an effective marketing plan for the property, developing promotional themes, reinvestment and sales strategies, and leading internal teams and external agencies in creative development. Key responsibilities include overseeing property branding and imaging, developing customer acquisition and retention plans (including loyalty programs), utilizing data for informed decision-making, and driving innovation in marketing strategy and execution. The position also involves budget development, monitoring costs, ensuring profitability, maximizing guest experience, and maintaining proper audit trails and regulatory compliance. The VP will represent the company externally, communicate marketing plans internally, and ensure flawless internal control and regulatory compliance.
