About The Position

Utah Housing Corporation (UHC) is seeking a full-time Vice President (VP) of Human Resources to lead its Human Resources Department. This leadership role involves developing and implementing HR strategies, programs, and policies to align with UHC's workforce and organizational goals. The VP will collaborate with executive leadership to provide strategic direction on talent management, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and adherence to employment laws. Nice To Haves

  • Professional certification such as SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or PHR.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, interprets, and administers personnel policies and employment practices.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Advises leaders and employees on human resources matters.
  • Prepares reports and recommendations for executive leadership and the Board of Trustees.
  • Oversees onboarding, training, leadership development, and career development initiatives.
