About The Position

Utah Housing Corporation (UHC) is seeking a full-time Vice President (VP) of Human Resources to lead its Human Resources Department. This leadership role is responsible for developing and directing HR strategies, programs, and policies that align with UHC's workforce and organizational objectives. The VP will collaborate with executive leadership to provide strategic guidance on talent management, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and compliance with employment laws. Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • At least seven years of progressively responsible human resources leadership experience, including supervisory responsibility.
  • Professional certification such as SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or PHR.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, interprets, and administers personnel policies and employment practices.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Advises leaders and employees on human resources matters.
  • Prepares reports and recommendations for executive leadership and the Board of Trustees.
  • Oversees onboarding, training, leadership development, and career development initiatives.
