The VP of HR is responsible for leading all human resources functions, ensuring alignment between business strategy and people practices, while fostering a high-performance, inclusive, and accountable workplace. The VP of HR will develop and execute the company’s HR strategy. The VP of HR leads the company’s people strategy across talent management, workforce planning, employee relations, compensation and benefits, compliance, and organizational development. The VP of HR partners with senior leadership to build scalable HR systems, strengthen culture, improve employee experience, and ensure that HR decisions support business goals. Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team on workforce and organizational priorities. Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals, growth initiatives, and operational needs. Lead talent acquisition, succession planning, leadership development, and workforce planning efforts. Establish and maintain compensation, benefits, and total rewards strategies that attract, retain, and motivate employees. Develop and execute a comprehensive compensation and total rewards strategy aligned with organizational goals and talent strategy. Lead market analysis, benchmarking, and salary reviews to ensure competitive pay practices and internal equity. Oversee employee benefit programs, including health and welfare plans, retirement programs, wellness initiatives, and vendor partnerships. Evaluate benefit plan performance, employee utilization, and cost trends to balance employee value with organizational affordability. Analyze HR metrics and market trends to support data-driven workforce decisions. Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements and compliance with employment legislation in order to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance. Partners with legal counsel as needed/required. Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing HR team. Partner with operations and business leaders to improve productivity, retention, and organizational performance. Perform all duties within established Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and FSMA guidelines as well as all safety regulations. Comply with Safe Quality Foods (SQF) food safety and quality standards. Perform all other duties as assigned.
