About The Position

Altruix is a high-touch pharmacy dedicated to serving behavioral health and intellectual and developmental disability populations. Through our pharmacy expertise, Medherent technology, and specialized packaging, we promote medication adherence and improve patient outcomes. Our services help clients take medications as prescribed while reducing administrative burden for providers. Altruix customers achieve measurable results, including 90% adherence rates and a 40% reduction in ER and hospital-related costs. The Vice President of Finance & Strategy will prepare and maintain budgets, forecasts, monthly financial reporting packages, board materials and similar financial analyses, KPIs, etc. Furthermore, the incumbent will partner with the COO to support the procurement function, driving improvement in Cost of Goods Sold and rebates and maintain appropriate inventory levels across all pharmacies. The role is eligible for remote work, with regular monthly travel to the Baltimore / Washington, DC corridor.

Requirements

  • BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • 10+ years of relevant financial analysis experience
  • Prior experience leading budgeting, forecasting, or financial planning
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • MBA preferred
  • Prior experience in Management Consulting, Private Equity or Corporate Development, particularly in a healthcare setting, preferred
  • Pharmacy or PBM industry experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of Sage Intact G/L and Power BI systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Leads the preparation of the annual operating budget and financial forecast
  • Partners with the Controller to draft the monthly financial reporting package and conduct related variance analysis
  • Oversees the preparation of the cash flow forecast and related lender reporting
  • Consolidates and publishes monthly financial and operational KPI scorecard
  • Performs variance analysis and prepares related commentary
  • Drafts materials for management and board presentations
  • Supports M&A due diligence, ROI analysis and related financial integration
  • Oversees and maintains integrity of data warehouse and related tools
  • Prepares analyses in support of the annual audit, quality of earnings, etc.
  • Partners with Procurement to drive unit COGS / rebate improvements and ensure appropriate inventory levels
  • Mentors, coaches and develops a staff of 3-5 professionals
  • Performs additional ad hoc analyses as required from time-to-time
