About The Position

Wendell Foster is seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Facilities & Environmental Services to join our team of #DifferenceMakers! This executive leadership role is responsible for overseeing facility operations, maintenance, environmental services, construction projects, fleet management, and campus safety to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for those we serve. You will help ensure that the individuals we support have access to safe, clean, attractive, and functional environments where they can thrive while providing staff with the resources needed to deliver exceptional services.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in facilities, maintenance, construction, or project management
  • Experience overseeing: Building maintenance
  • Experience overseeing: Construction and renovation projects
  • Experience overseeing: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field

Responsibilities

  • Lead all Facilities & Environmental Services operations
  • Oversee maintenance of buildings, grounds, and physical assets
  • Manage renovation, construction, and capital improvement projects
  • Direct environmental services and maintenance staff
  • Oversee fleet maintenance and facility security
  • Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets
  • Lead Wendell Foster's Health & Safety Committee
  • Maintain preventative maintenance programs
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on facility planning and organizational initiatives
