About The Position

The Vice President of Broadband Services will oversee the operational performance, subscriber growth, customer experience, and team development for all Stimulus Technologies broadband markets. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle of broadband operations—from network activation and service delivery to customer support and long-term retention. As Stimulus grows to serve tens of thousands of subscribers across multiple states, this leader will build and scale a high-performing operations organization, ensuring exceptional service quality and operational readiness in every new market. The VP will work closely with Construction and Engineering to ensure seamless transitions from network buildout to live operations.

Requirements

  • 15+ years in ISP or telecommunications operations, including senior leadership over multi-location teams.
  • Proven success managing large-scale network deployments.
  • Strong understanding of ISP infrastructure, network operations, and deployment processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire teams, develop talent, and scale organizations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of operational innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Business, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead broadband operations across all active and emerging markets.
  • Own end-to-end service delivery performance, including uptime, SLAs, and customer support outcomes.
  • Ensure operational readiness and smooth handoff of new service areas from construction to active service.
  • Drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making and operational rigor.
  • Recruit, develop, and manage regional teams including field technicians, NOC personnel, and operational supervisors.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, performance excellence, and values-driven leadership.
  • Build scalable organizational structures and succession plans to support rapid growth.
  • Oversee installation, activation, and support workflows to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Implement proactive strategies to improve satisfaction, reduce churn, and increase take rates.
  • Champion customer-centric processes that enhance responsiveness and service quality.
  • Deploy and optimize operational tools and platforms used to manage the network.
  • Establish and track KPIs for provisioning, ticketing, resolution times, and productivity.
  • Streamline service delivery processes to reduce costs and elevate service standards.
  • Partner with Engineering, Construction, and Finance to align staffing, systems, and budget planning with deployment timelines.
  • Ensure operational compliance across multiple states and regulatory environments.
  • Support cross-departmental initiatives that enhance network reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Develop scalable operational frameworks to support growth from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of subscribers.
  • Guide long-term strategic decisions based on technology trends, funding cycles, and market expansion goals.
  • Lead transition planning for new markets, ensuring readiness across people, systems, and processes.
