About The Position

Corpay is seeking a Vice President of Accounts Receivables – Credit and Risk Operations to lead a strategic function within the US Risk team. This role is crucial for managing collections and payment operations, aiming to transform current practices and deliver best-in-class results for multiple lines of business supporting approximately $2B in annual revenue. The position reports to the SVP of Enterprise Risk and collaborates with business leaders and credit/risk teams.

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree in business, data science, computer science or information technology
  • 7+ years of people leadership in high volume and fast-paced environments
  • 3+ years of people leadership in credit card issuing (preferable) or Financial Services
  • Expertise with BI Tools (Tableau and/or Power BI preferable) and creating reporting that enable actionable insights for the accounts receivable team
  • Prior hands-on experience leading technology initiatives for larger operational groups
  • Ability to write SQL code
  • Proven track record of leveraging technology to streamline processes and maximize profitability
  • Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders across multiple departments
  • Expert in using Excel / Spreadsheet and PowerPoint / Slides
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate well with business partners and influence business decisions
  • Ability to lead by example to inspire and influence your team to set and achieve consistently high performance standards

Responsibilities

  • Deliver best in class collection results through organizational leadership, process excellence, and technology initiatives.
  • Drive strategic vision to leverage technology for increased productivity and collection outcomes while minimizing operating and credit loss expense.
  • Lead efforts to evaluate technology, organizational, and support needs to prioritize overall business strategy.
  • Have end-to-end ownership of all accounts receivable functions, maintaining system integrity, availability, and automation.
  • Achieve SME status for all matters related to collections and payment operations for existing and new product rollouts.
  • Manage office consolidation merging collection office locations.
  • Implement Agentic AI solutions for outbound collection calling and delinquency resolution.
  • Develop business requirements for a new collection workflow system and lead the build versus buy decision process.
  • Identify and implement incentive strategies to maximize collector effectiveness and meet bad debt goals.
  • Develop digital collection strategies including email and SMS with click-to-pay functionality.
  • Make strategic changes to the offshore footprint based on advancements in agentic AI capabilities.
  • Identify solution providers to streamline and automate cash posting and application across North American LOBs.
  • Manage collection agency placements to maximize bad debt recovery potential.
  • Provide information consumable by senior and executive leaders to assist in the ongoing transformation of the accounts receivable group.
