About The Position

Lucky Lincoln Gaming is seeking a Vice President, Marketing to own marketing end-to-end, from location-level field marketing and player engagement to the brand presented to location partners. This is a builder's role where the individual will set the annual marketing plan and execute it with a team of two direct reports, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. Approximately 80% of the role focuses on marketing Lucky Lincoln to location owners and driving same-store sales growth and market share growth. This includes driving player traffic and engagement, running localized campaigns and events, assisting partners in growing their gaming business, equipping the revenue team for new location acquisition, and managing the go-to-market rollout of a revamped player loyalty program. The remaining responsibilities involve brand work, including a complete website rebuild, a refresh of outbound marketing, and positioning the brand to attract younger audiences for expansion into the Chicago market. The work done in this role will establish the marketing playbook for future initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership of small teams.
  • Track record in multi-unit, decentralized consumer businesses (e.g., hospitality, restaurant, franchise, multi-location consumer services, small-format gaming).
  • Proven ability to drive customers into physical locations through local marketing, events, promotions, and loyalty programs.
  • Experience supporting B2B growth, marketing to business owners or franchisees while engaging their end customers.
  • Comfortable with hands-on execution, from setting up events to talking with players and owners, and presenting results to executive leadership.
  • Proficiency in measurement: understanding what to measure, why it matters, and how to tie spend to outcomes.
  • Executive presence to gain buy-in from leadership.
  • Ability to be disclosed to the Illinois Gaming Board as a sales agent and maintain eligibility under applicable Illinois gaming regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the annual marketing plan and budget for Lucky Lincoln Gaming.
  • Implement location-level marketing programs, promotions, and player-facing events across the Illinois network, including regular field visits.
  • Manage the rollout and ongoing marketing of the revamped player loyalty program.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations leadership on location acquisition and retention, providing the revenue team with necessary brand materials and campaigns.
  • Oversee a complete website rebuild and modernization of outbound marketing efforts.
  • Define marketing success metrics, including KPIs, measurement framework, and reporting cadence for spend efficiency and year-over-year same-store sales growth.
  • Lead a small marketing team and manage a limited set of outside vendors.
  • Generate and execute fresh campaign ideas with measurable results.
