About The Position

The Vice President, Marketing & Communications is responsible for managing the Yearbook & Prospectus' Instagram page throughout the year. This includes designing Instagram posts and content to promote the Yearbook and associated events. The role requires a time commitment of 4-6 hours per week, increasing to 5-7 hours during peak periods. The term of employment is from June 2026 to May 2027.

Requirements

  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom etc.), Canva, Capcut or equivalent
  • Familiarity with video editing softwares (e.g: iMovie, Capcut, Premiere Pro or equivalent
  • Ensure all creative tasks are completed on schedule
  • Creativity and passion for social media and graphic design
  • Proactive communication with the team during the term of employment

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Yearbook & Prospectus' Instagram page
  • Plan and design promotional graphics and creative content for posts and stories
  • Attend weekly or bi-weekly portfolio meetings for process tracking
  • Collaborate and communicate with fellow team members and VP Digital Design Lead for creative input
  • Collaborate with VP Externals for potential collaborations and student engagement ideas
  • Report to VP Digital Designs and Yearbook & Prospectus Co-Chairs on the progress of projects
