About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Vice President, Lead Corporate Banking Relationship Manager as part of the Banks Corporate & Investment Banking team. This individual will be responsible for building, maintaining, and growing profitable relationships with Banks who are Corporate Banking clients with assets below $20Bn. (Emerging growth segment) This role will also support Senior Corporate Banking Relationship Managers who are responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with a broad range of corporate clients and delivering the full platform of Wells Fargo’s capabilities including Debt & Equity Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance, M&A related Acquisition Finance, Treasury Management, Macro solutions, Global Receivables & Trade and Credit. This position requires a VP that is capable of supporting more senior Relationship Managers driving the business and developing complex relationships as well as having his/her own portfolio of clients. The successful candidate should have a proven ability to develop internal and external relationships and have some relevant corporate banking experience. Banks sector experience is a plus.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Corporate Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex initiatives including those that are cross functional with broad impact and act as key participant in relationship management and business development for Corporate Banking functional area
  • Strive to broaden and deepen customer relationships by providing integrated, end to end financial solutions to our customers across multiple product platforms
  • Participate in the completion of major transactions with management
  • Originate, structure and execute the largest most complex transactions related to investment banking, traditional corporate lending or their credit related products
  • Demonstrate a strategic and consultative approach with client
  • Identify opportunities and organize the right internal partners and team to form the relationship team
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
