About The Position

This role is Wingstop's senior International Marketing leader at the Global Support Center. Wingstop is expanding internationally, expecting to enter another 10 to 12 markets over the next three years. This position represents APAC, EMEA, the Americas, and India in enterprise brand, marketing, and innovation decisions, ensuring a global perspective from the outset. While International Managing Directors have full accountability for their regional businesses, this role provides functional leadership, shared standards, and connectivity to maintain a unified Wingstop brand while allowing for regional speed and responsiveness.

Requirements

  • Global brand builder with sound judgment about consistency and local adaptation.
  • Commercial and culturally fluent leader who understands franchise economics and market growth.
  • Strong matrix operator who can influence senior leaders while respecting regional authority.
  • Experience across international brand marketing, market research, positioning, menu and pricing strategy, new-market launches, experiential platforms, and product innovation.
  • Track record of developing talent, leading external partners, and managing meaningful budgets.
  • Restaurant, retail, hospitality, entertainment, sports, music, or lifestyle-brand experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the senior International Marketing voice at the Global Support Center and in enterprise leadership forums.
  • Partner with the CMO to translate enterprise brand strategy into clear international guardrails and practical market tools.
  • Provide dotted-line functional leadership, coaching, and capability development to the four regional Marketing leaders.
  • Build frictionless mechanisms for campaigns, assets, consumer insight, and learning to move between the United States and international markets and across regions.
  • Partner with Managing Directors to strengthen regional plans, market launches, investment choices, and commercial performance.
  • Lead international market research and use it to shape local brand positioning, consumer priorities, and market growth plans.
  • Lead the brand workstream for new-market entry, including positioning, menu architecture, pricing recommendations, launch planning, and post-launch learning.
  • Hold a seat in U.S. product innovation discussions so global extensibility is evaluated early and international ideas enter the enterprise pipeline.
  • Serve as a key stakeholder on the steering committee for the Global Innovation Center of Excellence and connect it with U.S. innovation and the four regions.
  • Own the strategy, creative vision, and execution standards for signature global experiences, including House of Flavor.
  • Partner with Loyalty, U.S. Local Marketing, and shared services so enterprise capabilities support international markets without slowing local decisions.
  • Establish a focused scorecard for brand health, commercial contribution, innovation reach, speed, and marketing efficiency.
