Requirements

• A subject matter expert in leveraging influencers for brand success, capable of leading and mentoring a dedicated team of influencer specialists.
• An adept networker with proven experience in celebrity and influencer marketing, specifically within the B2B business space.
• A trusted client partner and advisor who proactively counsels clients, and uncovers business needs to build collaborative, strategic programs rather than simply executing requests.
• A proven track record of building client trust and driving business development, including both incremental account growth and new business acquisition.
• A compelling presenter and communicator who engages effortlessly with clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders alike.
• An out-of-the-box critical thinker with exceptional problem-solving abilities who looks well beneath the surface.
• A dynamic, high-energy individual deeply immersed in culture and social platforms.
• Meaningful foundation in influencer marketing, supported by an established and expanding network of relationships with agents and managers.
• Deeply connected to evolving digital culture, platform innovations, and industry trends to create timely, future-forward collaborations.
• Stay informed on platform best practices and proactively share insights and innovations with peers, clients, and prospects.
• Experience within the financial services and/or credit card industry
• Experience managing a team of 3–4 direct reports, with a proven ability to motivate teammates and foster their growth.
• Proven capability to lead account teams through influencer identification, negotiation, and comprehensive activation management.
• Confident client lead across multiple workstreams, with the ability to command a room and secure stakeholder buy-in across multiple channels.
• Highly articulate communicator, engaging presenter, and versatile writer.
• Required ability to travel for face-to-face engagements at client offices, events, and live activations.
• Self-directed, highly motivated leader who takes full ownership of projects from conception through to execution.
• Strong project leadership capabilities grounded in strategic thinking and effective communication.
• Exceptionally nimble and adaptable, with the ability to fluidly navigate changing pathways and counsel clients on strategic pivots.

Responsibilities

• Translate client goals into effective influencer-led campaigns by acting as a thought leader and critical thinker for both clients and the agency, contributing directly to integrated marketing strategies.
• Direct the full end-to-end influencer procurement lifecycle, from establishing initial strategy and recommendations to leading negotiations and ongoing partnership management.
• Formulate and scale influencer strategies across accounts, creating strategic recommendations and securing alignment on major, culture-forward initiatives.
• Act as an essential voice and trusted advisor to clients, managing day-to-day account collaborations and strategic partnerships.
• Champion relations with key tastemakers, brand partners, and influencers, integrating them into brand ecosystems on both a programmatic and ad-hoc basis.
• Track, analyze, and proactively present competitive brand insights and cultural trends to clients, showcasing agility by designing unique entry points for brands to capitalize on these trends.
• Conduct regularly scheduled client meetings (via Zoom or in person) as the primary team representative, steering the agenda and delivering comprehensive follow-up recaps.
• Evaluate and leverage social tools and technologies, maintaining a deep understanding of influencer social analytics and paid social.
• Actively provide strategic counsel and be a senior strategic voice for the client
• Build strong relationship that establishes trust with clients
• Supervise and direct account teams on client deliverables
• Create and sell in influencer marketing programs with synergies between PR + organic social + paid social, including measurement at the core of every program
• Design work plans for programs
• Ensure work output is the best it can be (of self and team members)
• Collaborate within integrated agency teams and with agency partners
• Problem-solve quickly when issues arise; be solution-oriented in all scenarios
• Create and track budgets; understand profitability
• Set goals and KPIs for your programs
• Inspire and motivate team members while driving initiatives that strengthen agency culture
• Define and establish clear performance benchmarks for account teams
• Deliver ongoing, real-time coaching and constructive feedback to elevate teammates and enhance overall work quality
• Actively challenge the status quo to drive innovative thinking
• Guide the team through challenges by serving as an effective problem solver
• Partner with supervisors to allocate staff and resources efficiently based on individual skills, interests, and developmental opportunities
