About The Position
Lazard is seeking a Vice President to join their Healthcare Services team in the New York office. This role will focus on mergers & acquisitions, financings and capital structure, restructurings, and shareholder activism within the healthcare services sector. The New York team is a vital part of Lazard’s Global Healthcare Group, which covers a broad spectrum of healthcare industries including services, biopharma, medical devices, life science tools, and diagnostics.
Requirements
- At least four years of investment banking experience, with at least 60% Healthcare M&A experience preferred
- Knowledge of the Healthcare Services industry and landscape
- Demonstrated team player attitude and leadership qualities with strong motivation to contribute to a positive team culture
- Top academic performance with comfort operating in an unstructured environment which values initiative, creativity, and maturity
- Ability to support, manage, and empower junior bankers
- Strong client and presentation skills
- Strong quantitative background and analytical skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously
- Bachelor’s degree or higher required
Responsibilities
- Perform financial analyses and create models
- Prepare and create client presentations and marketing materials
- Interact with client senior executives
- Manage deal processes
- Provide guidance to and supervise Associates and Analysts
