We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President to join our Finance Regulatory Change Management team. This role is located in Pittsburgh.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 8–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Data Analyst on large regulatory or business transformation programs within global financial institutions.
  • Strong knowledge of finance and regulatory reporting, including Capital, CCAR, and Statistical Reporting.
  • Solid understanding of financial data structures and data management practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Big Data technologies.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Axiom configuration projects, having worked in Axiom ControllerView Version 10 or later.

Nice To Haves

  • Product Owner experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, define and prioritize business requirements and functional or operational specifications for moderate to large Regulatory mandated projects of increasing complexity.
  • Provide consultation to all areas of IT and business management for the application of Regulatory reporting to support business opportunities and planning and implementation of cross-functional applications.
  • Participate in and provide guidance on development of functional requirements and user documentation and testing.
  • Support the development of improved business processes through technology, using broad knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements and BNY corporate policies involving risk and control.
  • Discuss and negotiate technical requirements and multi-departmental solutions, design and implement innovative efficient auditable processes, and document results for all levels of management.
  • Identify and communicate meaningful issues to management as part of the reporting process and suggest options to address and remediate.
  • Coordinate with cross functional team, stakeholders, and technology team.
  • Work with senior management to ensure that the appropriate external reporting policies, methods, standards, processes, reporting and training are developed, applied and understood by impacted stakeholders.
  • Act as the external reporting point of contact for a particular business/business partner area.
  • Leverage complex regulatory reporting techniques to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage all activities related to the development and production of external reporting.
  • Plan and implement policies, procedures and reporting activities across multiple businesses and locations.
