About The Position

This role is responsible for the strategic allocation and methodology design for how shared platform costs (Executive, IT, HR, CLO/Legal) are allocated across independent balance sheets. The position involves driver-based modeling to transform static overhead into a dynamic service catalog, ensuring capital structure integrity and alignment with external stakeholders. The Vice President will act as a strategic business partner for the Pillar strategy, educating leadership on service charge profiles and optimizing shared resource utilization. This role also involves conflict resolution for allocation queries, performance analysis of HoldCo services, leading the annual budgeting process for Shared Service units, and providing executive visibility into the ROI of centralized functions. Additionally, the role partners with Controller and Tax teams to provide the commercial narrative for GAAP and Tax reporting.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in Strategic Finance, Operations Finance, or Management Consulting.
  • Experience in a multi-entity or "Platform-style" environment is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Expert-level financial modeling skills.
  • Ability to build scalable, automated allocation engines from complex data sets.
  • Exceptional executive presence.
  • Ability to navigate sensitive commercial negotiations with autonomous business unit leaders.
  • A "Commercial Owner" mindset, treating centralized G&A as a service business and Pillars as sophisticated clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the logic for how shared platform costs are allocated across independent balance sheets.
  • Collaborate with functional leads to identify cost drivers and transform static overhead into a dynamic service catalog.
  • Ensure all service charges are defensible and aligned with independent debt structures and external stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary financial liaison for the Pillar strategy, educating leadership on service charge profiles and optimizing shared resource use.
  • Serve as the objective arbiter for allocation queries, ensuring fairness and incentivizing efficient growth.
  • Monitor the "unit cost" of HoldCo services to ensure economies of scale are delivered to the Pillars.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process for Shared Service units, aligning HoldCo’s financial goals with Pillars' independent P&L constraints.
  • Provide the CFO and Corporate Executive Team with data-driven insights into the ROI of centralized functions and the health of the intercompany economic ecosystem.
  • Partner with Controller and Tax teams to provide the commercial narrative behind GAAP and Tax reporting.
