About The Position

The Vice President, Executive Compensation role at Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Dallas, Texas, involves managing various stages of the global equity plan lifecycle. Requirements

  • Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related business analytical field with three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related business analytical field with five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role.
  • Three (3) years of experience (with a Master’s degree) or five (5) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s degree) with working with Excel using analytical formulas and visualization tools, including vlookups, pivot tables, conditionals and data structuring, to support regulatory data reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Three (3) years of experience (with a Master’s degree) or five (5) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s degree) with facilitating data extraction, transformation, and loading using Excel and Business Objects.
  • Three (3) years of experience (with a Master’s degree) or five (5) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s degree) serving as a technical liaison between business and technology teams and assisting with website development, bug fixes, and system enhancements.
  • Three (3) years of experience (with a Master’s degree) or five (5) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s degree) producing multiple, time-sensitive deliverables relating to equity grant, delivery, and forfeiture processes to senior leadership while ensuring a high quality of work.
  • Three (3) years of experience (with a Master’s degree) or five (5) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s degree) providing timely responses to stakeholder queries relating to equity awards, including performing scenario analysis for Wealth Management clients.
  • Three (3) years of experience (with a Master’s degree) or five (5) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s degree) succinctly summarizing data issues in equity programs and assessing impact by leveraging written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly and annual reporting and data reconciliation/mining to manage certain stages of the global equity plan lifecycle, including the grant of annual and off-cycle awards.
  • Perform population analysis for year-end stock plan administration processes, including determining grant structures and system setup, monitoring equity restrictions, and administering delivery of shares.
  • Apply design changes to equity plans based on complex global financial, regulatory, legal and tax considerations.
  • Develop monthly and quarterly reporting based on data analysis performed to determine equity treatment for terminated employees, including collating final decisions for senior management approval.
  • Document and analyze information related to the impact of Goldman Sachs acquisitions or divestitures on equity compensation.
  • Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency, minimize risk, streamline processes, and prioritize system fixes with Engineering teams and external vendors.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to junior team members and work closely with equity compensation team and stakeholders to foster professional growth and career development.
