About The Position

Founded in 2023, ModCorr LLC was established to meet the growing demand for rapidly deployable, detention-grade correctional facilities. We specialize in delivering secure, scalable, and efficient modular solutions designed to support the evolving needs of correctional systems across the country. At ModCorr, speed, safety, and strength are the foundation of every structure we build. ModCorr combines deep industry expertise with advanced modular construction techniques to reduce timelines without compromising quality or compliance. Whether for temporary expansion or long-term infrastructure, ModCorr delivers turnkey solutions that adapt to your operational and security requirements. ModCorr is a rapidly growing specialty construction company with a strong fabrication backbone and integrated field installation capabilities. The business has scaled quickly and is now entering its next phase: professionalizing operations, strengthening margins, and reducing owner dependency while sustaining growth. To lead this next chapter, we are hiring an Executive Vice President (EVP) — a proven senior operating executive who can run the business day‑to‑day, bring operational rigor, and build a leadership team capable of scaling a $100–250M enterprise. This is a true enterprise operating role, not a project executive position. The EVP / General Manager is the senior operating leader of the company, accountable for execution, operational performance, and financial results across fabrication, logistics, and field installation. The EVP/GM has full authority over day‑to‑day operations and P&L execution, while ownership retains responsibility for enterprise strategy, major capital allocation, and governance. This role is ideal for a hands‑on, disciplined operator who thrives in a privately held, growth‑oriented environment and knows how to bring structure without bureaucracy.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in specialty construction, industrial services, or fabrication‑led construction
  • Senior operating leadership experience at the $100M+ revenue level
  • Direct experience integrating fabrication/manufacturing with field installation
  • Demonstrated success in stabilizing and scaling operations while improving margins and predictability
  • Enterprise-level operator with hands‑on instincts
  • Comfortable operating with full accountability under an active owner
  • Structured, disciplined, and execution‑oriented
  • Builder of teams, systems, and operating cadence
  • Decisive, credible, and respected by field and shop leaders alike

Responsibilities

  • Lead all fabrication, logistics, and field installation operations across the business
  • Integrate shop production, scheduling, logistics, and field execution into a cohesive operating system
  • Drive consistent performance across safety, quality, schedule adherence, productivity, and margin
  • Establish operating cadence, KPIs, and accountability across all functions and locations
  • Own execution against approved budgets and operating plans
  • Improve margin discipline through cost control, throughput optimization, and risk management
  • Partner closely with Finance on forecasting, working capital management, and cash flow predictability
  • Identify performance gaps early and take decisive corrective action
  • Build, develop, and hold accountable a strong second‑tier leadership team
  • Clarify roles, decision rights, and escalation paths to reduce friction and bottlenecks
  • Professionalize performance management, talent development, and succession planning
  • Reduce reliance on informal or owner‑centric decision-making
  • Standardize project delivery, fabrication workflows, and field execution processes
  • Identify and implement systems and tools that support scale without unnecessary complexity
  • Drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, productivity, and risk management
  • Translate ownership strategy into executable operating plans
  • Proactively surface risks, capacity constraints, and investment needs
  • Serve as a trusted operating partner to the President / CEO

Benefits

  • Competitive executive compensation package
  • Opportunity to lead and scale a high-growth organization during a pivotal stage of expansion
  • Direct partnership with executive leadership and ownership
  • Safe Harbor 401(k) Plan
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Company-paid life and disability insurance
  • Voluntary supplemental life insurance
  • Paid time off and sick leave
