Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), this role leads Financial Systems, People Technology, and the Enterprise AI Lab. The position works with Finance, People (HR), and Customer Success / Post-Sales leaders to co-design autonomous workflows and architect the enterprise AI platform infrastructure needed to operate them safely at scale. It oversees enterprise systems and AI teams, establishes enterprise-grade AI architecture and governance, and advances AI-assisted engineering practices while maintaining security, privacy, access controls, and human review standards. Success milestones include assessing the application portfolio and teams within the first 30 days; defining the AI Lab charter, pilot workflows, architecture blueprint, and enablement curriculum within 60 days; launching fusion pods and pilot sandboxes within 90 days; delivering production agentic solutions and standardizing architecture and security guardrails within six months; and scaling autonomous workflows and establishing an AI-first engineering organization within one year. The role is US-based remote and requires periodic domestic travel, typically 10–20%, for executive offsites, team strategy summits, vendor meetings, and corporate events. In-person interview attendance is required during the selection process. The estimated US base salary range is $214,700–$361,906. The role may also be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or role-specific commission and equity participation. Compensation varies by employment location and other factors.
