About The Position

Citco is a market leader in the asset servicing sector, established in 1948. The company is seeking a Vice President, Digital Workflow, Automation & AI to join its Strategic Operations team within Private Assets. This role is part of a dedicated function focused on transformation delivery, project execution, business analysis, and operational initiatives. The Strategic Operations group is divided into three focus areas: Operating Model, Product & Client Solutions; Data, Reporting & Platform Enablement; and Digital Workflow, Automation & AI. The Digital Workflow, Automation & AI area is responsible for identifying and delivering workflow, automation, and AI opportunities, establishing controls, and measuring benefits. This group collaborates closely with Operations, the Transformation Office, IT, Tactical Operations, and Marquee Client teams. Roles within this group can be permanent or approximately 12-month rotational assignments.

Requirements

8+ years’ experience in private assets accounting or operations, with hands-on exposure to automation or process improvement.
Hands-on experience of automation deployment, workflow design, process improvement or system implementation.
Strong technical knowledge of private assets processes and where the manual effort genuinely sits.
Familiarity with automation and workflow tooling, and a practical view of where AI is and is not appropriate.
Project management skills with attention to detail and a proven ability to multi-task.
Confident engaging both operational teams and technology partners.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel); familiarity with reporting, workflow or automation tooling an advantage.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics; professional accounting designation is preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver automation and digital workflow change from opportunity identification through to deployment and measured benefit.
Identify processes suitable for automation or AI, quantify the opportunity, and build the case.
Design the target workflow, including exception handling and the controls that sit around it.
Write and agree requirements with IT and the Transformation Office, and support them through build.
Design, plan and execute testing, including UAT, and manage defect resolution through to sign-off.
Deploy solutions into the business and confirm they are used as intended.
Measure and report realised benefit against the original case.
Work with the Operating Model, Product & Client Solutions and Data, Reporting & Platform Enablement focus areas where automation depends on process redesign or data capability.
Produce project documentation, status reporting and ad hoc analysis as required.
