About The Position

The American College of Physicians (ACP), a prestigious medical membership association for doctors of internal medicine located in Philadelphia, is seeking a Vice President, Digital Products and Services (DPS). Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), the Vice President leads the design, development, deployment, and ongoing evolution of digital products and related services and platforms across the College. This is a hybrid position with two days per week in the Philadelphia office required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer sciences, or a closely related technical field.
Extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of the software design and development process for a wide variety of modern, multi-tier, cloud-based application architectures.
Excellent communication, project management, and relationship building skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with issues specific to developing software for medical education and/or digital publishing domains in a non-profit/association setting is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Leading the identification and development of new digital programs, products, and services by assessing organizational needs and evaluating emerging technologies.
Building and sustaining trusted partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment, collaboration, and shared outcomes across the organization.
Providing leadership and expertise in the design, development, and evolution of digital products and services supporting medical education, member engagement, digital publications, and service platforms, ensuring solutions are user‑centered, scalable, secure, and aligned with College‑wide priorities.
Overseeing and directly managing complex digital product initiatives using agile and iterative delivery methodologies, coordinating cross‑functional resources, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Lead, develop, and inspire multidisciplinary product design, systems engineering, and architecture teams, providing clear strategic direction and fostering collaboration.
