About The Position

Fanatics Collectibles is looking for a leader to build a Digital Operations function and organization. The VP of Digital Operations will report directly to Fanatics Collectibles’ EVP of Operations and should have extensive experience in leading teams, creating a winning culture and a track record of executing at the highest level. The digital operations function is the >100 person organization that builds every design template, re-touches every image, edits/reviews all text, and assembles all these assets into a ready to print file for hundreds of products every year. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and scaling high performing teams, large scale change management and process improvement initiatives (incl. post-M&A integrations) as well as a demonstrated passion for sports, culture & entertainment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 12 years work experience, with 7-8+ years of leading multiple different functions and workflows (expertise leading post-M&A integration processes strongly preferred)
  • “Digital Factory” Builder (e.g., game development, claims processing, mortgage processing, etc.) - Experience building and managing organizations of 100+ individuals in a high growth environment
  • Thoughtful performance manager – able to drive and manage performance at every level of their organization
  • World class problem solver – able to dive into the details of problems with the team to help them understand the problems and develop solutions
  • Change leader - excited to drive change, integrate multiple different teams and functions and able to prioritize and remain flexible in high pressure dynamic situations

Responsibilities

  • Integrate multiple different teams, spread out across multiple different locations.
  • Build the leadership team (both organically and inorganically) that can grow the organization to support 2-3x volume growth
  • Lead the development of highly reliable, high performing leaders who engage and foster team accountability.
  • Streamline the flow of deliverables throughout the functions within your organization (editorial, prepress, retouching, QA/QC, etc).
  • Create strategic, technical and staffing planning roadmaps that enable the throughput and capacity needed to support all other functions (product, design, manufacturing)
  • Build out a world-class, data driven organization that delivers quicker turn around times and higher complexity than has previously been known to exist.
