About The Position

DeVries is seeking a senior digital leader to oversee influencer marketing, paid strategy, and client experience. This Vice President will manage accounts end-to-end, acting as the primary client contact and leading daily relationships to ensure all efforts align with brand and business objectives. The role involves overseeing earned, social, and influencer programs, ensuring cohesive strategy across teams for maximum impact. This is a hybrid role based in the New York Office. The VP will be responsible for full-funnel influencer programs, integrating paid amplification from the outset, and serving as a trusted client advisor to drive measurable business results. The ideal candidate possesses expertise in the creator economy and paid media best practices, understanding the synergy between organic influence and paid distribution for optimal reach, efficiency, and conversion.

Requirements

  • 9–12+ years of experience in influencer marketing, social/digital strategy, or integrated communications—agency experience strongly preferred
  • Deep expertise across the creator economy, major social platforms, and influencer analytics/measurement tools
  • Proven track record leading integrated, multi-channel campaigns and managing complex, cross-functional client accounts
  • Strong influencer contracting and negotiation skills, including talent representation and multi-tier partnerships
  • Exceptional presenter and communicator—confident with C-suite clients and external audiences
  • Experience managing and growing teams in both local and remote environments

Nice To Haves

  • Fluency in paid media strategy and execution—including whitelisting, dark posts, boosting, and creator licensing—and how these connect to organic influencer programming
  • Familiarity with large-scale product launches and CPG account environments
  • Advanced proficiency in influencer platforms (CreatorIQ, Tagger, or equivalent) and digital analytics tools

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-funnel influencer programs spanning awareness, engagement, and conversion—including celebrity, creator, and ambassador partnerships across all major social platforms
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage influencer talent across tiers, channels, categories, and niches; navigate contracting and FTC compliance
  • Architect influencer programs with paid amplification built in from the brief—partnering with paid media teams to boost high-performing content, execute dark posts, and extend reach through whitelisting and creator licensing strategies
  • Own post-campaign evaluation: ROI measurement, analytics platforms (e.g., CreatorIQ, Tagger), and optimization recommendations
  • Serve as the senior day-to-day client partner—providing proactive strategic counsel, adapting to executive audiences, and driving organic account growth
  • Oversee integration of all account work across earned media, influencer, social, and traditional channels into cohesive, measurable campaigns
  • Define KPIs, implement reporting frameworks, and present campaign performance with clear business impact to senior stakeholders
  • Educate clients unfamiliar with influencer marketing on best practices, platform nuances, and path-to-purchase measurement
  • Directly manage 2+ team members; mentor junior staff and cultivate a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous growth
  • Lead and contribute to new business pitches; proactively identify growth opportunities within existing client accounts
  • Champion influencer thought leadership internally and externally—sharing platform updates, emerging tools, and industry best practices
  • Manage program budgets, monthly reconciliation, forecasting, and year-end reconciliations
