About The Position

The Vice President, Digital Enablement Solutions (DES) is a senior global leader within Corporate IT, responsible for enabling the business and delivering measurable value across all corporate functions at Visa. This role operates at the intersection of technology, business strategy, employee experience, and change, ensuring that enterprise investments translate into real outcomes—adoption, productivity, and sustained impact. The VP of DES leads a multi‑disciplinary organization that provides portfolio and program leadership, workplace experience design, digital adoption, organizational change management, and AI enablement. The role partners closely with business executives, Corporate IT leaders, and cross‑functional stakeholders worldwide to drive disciplined execution, simplify complexity, and accelerate value realization from technology and transformation initiatives.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 10+ years with an advanced degree (e.g., Master’s/MBA/JD/MD), or 8+ years with a PhD.
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise IT, including managing globally distributed teams within a Fortune 500 organization
  • Senior executive experience (VP level or equivalent) leading large‑scale, global, cross‑functional organizations.
  • Proven track record delivering enterprise technology, transformation, or enablement initiatives with measurable business outcomes.
  • Deep expertise in one or more of the following: portfolio/program management, workplace technology, employee experience, organizational change management, or digital adoption.
  • Exceptional executive presence with the ability to influence, align, and partner with senior leaders across business and technology.
  • Strong systems thought leader with the ability to simplify complexity and translate strategy into execution.

  • Experience leading enterprise enablement for AI, GenAI, or advanced digital platforms strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Enable business outcomes across all corporate functions by ensuring technology, transformation, and change initiatives are executed with clarity, discipline, and measurable impact.
  • Translate enterprise strategy and investment into delivered outcomes through strong governance, prioritization, and execution rigor.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to senior business and IT leaders on complex, high‑impact initiatives spanning multiple functions and geographies.
  • Provide end‑to‑end portfolio and program management leadership for enterprise initiatives across Workplace Technology, Corporate Technology Services, M&A integrations, Global Corporate Real Estate, People, Legal, Finance, Corporate Tools, and Cyber.
  • Establish and maintain execution standards, governance models, and performance metrics that ensure alignment to strategy, risk mitigation, and predictable delivery.
  • Drive transparency across portfolios, enabling informed trade‑off decisions and executive‑level visibility into progress, dependencies, and outcomes.
  • Lead workplace experience research, design, and optimization to improve how employees interact with corporate tools, services, and workflows.
  • Champion user‑centered design, data‑driven insights, and continuous improvement to measurably increase productivity, satisfaction, and adoption.
  • Oversee continual service improvement practices to strengthen service health, reliability, and experience quality over time.
  • Define and deliver enterprise digital adoption strategies that accelerate effective use of corporate platforms and tools.
  • Oversee role‑based, scenario‑driven training and development programs that build sustainable capability across the organization.
  • Ensure enablement approaches maximize return on technology investment and reduce friction during change.
  • Set enterprise standards for organizational change management, including change strategy, readiness assessments, impact analysis, communications, and success measurement.
  • Partner with executives and sponsors to increase leadership alignment, sponsorship effectiveness, and change velocity.
  • Ensure major initiatives land successfully, with adoption sustained beyond go‑live.
  • Lead enterprise AI skill building, enablement, and adoption programs (including Copilot and emerging agentic AI capabilities).
  • Oversee development of AI training, playbooks, use‑case libraries, and enablement content to scale responsible and productive AI usage.
  • Leverage telemetry, experience insights, and feedback loops to continuously optimize GenAI adoption and productivity outcomes.
  • Sponsor and scale enterprise partner and ambassador networks, including GenAI Ambassadors, Change Champions, and Business Partner Networks.
  • Use distributed networks to strengthen alignment, surface priority use cases, reinforce adoption, and extend enablement at the edge of the organization.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a high‑performing global leadership team with deep expertise across program management, experience design, change, training, and enablement.
  • Establish clear accountability, decision rights, and operating rhythms across a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
