Morrison Child and Family Services is a nationally recognized leader in Behavioral Health Care for Children and Families, founded in 1947. With an annual operating budget of approximately $40 million and a team of over 425 people, Morrison operates 9 distinct programs and serves 8000 children and families per year. It is a Joint Commission and Sanctuary accredited non-profit organization providing a comprehensive array of services. The Vice President of Development is responsible for leading Morrison's Development, Marketing, and Communications efforts. This role offers an opportunity to build upon established fundraising efforts and expand the organization. The VP will work closely with the CEO, the development team, Board Members, and supporters to build relationships, enhance donor engagement, and secure philanthropic support and corporate sponsorships. This is a hands-on fundraising role directly supporting a $40 million organization aiming to serve 10,000 children and families annually. The VP will lead fundraising strategy, annual planning, and execution across all channels, as well as marketing, communication, and brand strengthening. The VP will serve as the primary ambassador to the philanthropic community, manage a high-impact donor portfolio, make direct asks, close gifts, host events, and build infrastructure for sustained fundraising success. The VP will also be a key public relations contact and an outwardly visible executive.
