Reporting into the Chief Customer Officer, the Vice President, Delivery is responsible for driving end-to-end delivery excellence across all product lines for the enterprise. This role leads a team of leaders who oversee complex, cross functional delivery functions and ensure customer commitments, operational rigor, and strategic growth objectives are consistently achieved. The Vice President, Delivery, serves as a critical member of the senior leadership team, partnering closely with the Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Sales and Finance to translate strategy into operational execution. The leader will establish scalable delivery strategy, elevate delivery maturity, and enable high performing teams to meet evolving customer and business needs. Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in delivery, operations, consulting, program management, or related areas.
  • 7+ years of leadership experience managing Director-level leaders or equivalent senior managers.
  • Demonstrated success leading large, matrixed delivery organizations supporting multiple products or business lines.
  • In-depth knowledge of delivery methodologies and best‑practice frameworks.
  • Proven ability to drive operational transformation, implement scalable processes, and elevate delivery maturity.
  • Exceptional executive communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams and develop future leaders.
  • Experience in SaaS, technology, consulting, healthcare, or similarly complex delivery environments.
  • Prior responsibility for P&L related delivery metrics (revenue realization, utilization, efficiency).
  • Prior experience in authorization or utilization management operations, preferably in a healthcare or payer environment.
  • Background in working across product management, engineering, customer success, or sales organizations.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, Agile certifications, or similar credentials.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong client delivery experience within the Utilization Management space.
  • Background in consulting paired with hands on software delivery in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and driving the enterprise delivery strategy aligned with company goals, scaling delivery operations across all product lines.
  • Creating and maintaining delivery frameworks, operating mechanisms, and governance standards to ensure consistent, reliable delivery outcomes.
  • Partnering with Product and Engineering leaders to define delivery roadmaps, resource models, and capacity planning approaches.
  • Identifying and executing opportunities to streamline delivery operations, improve efficiency, and mature processes.
  • Setting the foundation for a professional services organization to support ongoing changes and customizations.
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing leaders and their respective teams.
  • Building a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across delivery functions.
  • Providing thought leadership and guidance on delivery best practices, talent development, and organizational structure.
  • Championing high performance behaviors within the delivery organization.
  • Overseeing the execution of delivery cycles for each product line; ensure commitments are met or exceeded regarding quality, timelines, and customer satisfaction.
  • Establishing KPIs and dashboards to monitor delivery performance, predict risks, and ensure early mitigation.
  • Owning and optimizing resource allocation, capacity management, utilization targets, and cross functional workflow alignment.
  • Serving as the executive point of contact for delivery performance across the organization.
  • Communicating delivery updates, risks, mitigation strategies, and performance metrics to executive leadership.
  • Collaborating with sales on scoping, pricing, and feasibility of complex engagements.
  • Supporting strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting for delivery related resources and initiatives.
  • Driving adoption of delivery methodologies, frameworks, and tools that enhance scalability and quality.
  • Analyzing operational data and market trends to recommend strategic enhancements to delivery capabilities.
  • Leading initiatives to modernize delivery infrastructure (e.g., tooling, automation, reporting technology).
  • Embedding a continuous improvement mindset across the delivery organization.
