About The Position

Fidelity Philanthropic Services is seeking a Vice President of Data Enablement, Governance & Quality to lead the evolution of our data program. This highly visible leadership role will shape how data is understood, managed, and leveraged across the organization while building a culture that recognizes data as a critical business asset. You will partner with senior leaders across business and technology functions to establish long-term strategies, influence organizational change, and create the governance, stewardship, security, and quality practices needed to support future growth, innovation, analytics, and emerging AI capabilities.

Requirements

  • Combination of strategic leadership, data management expertise, and organizational influence.
  • Experience building programs, developing strong partnerships, and creating alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated success transforming developing or fragmented capabilities into sustainable enterprise programs.
  • Significant experience leading enterprise data management, governance, stewardship, quality, or data enablement initiatives within a complex organization.
  • Proven success influencing senior leaders and driving organizational adoption without relying solely on formal authority.
  • Strong understanding of modern data ecosystems, including cloud-based platforms, analytics environments, metadata management, and emerging AI-related data requirements.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship management skills with the ability to engage audiences ranging from technical teams to executive leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Data Management, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Financial services experience and familiarity with regulatory and risk management considerations are beneficial.

  • Define meaningful KPIs and reporting that measure program effectiveness, adoption, and business value.
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams while fostering collaboration, accountability, innovation, and professional growth.
  • Navigate and participate in Enterprise level initiatives, programs and working groups; distilling enterprise level expectations to specific areas of responsibility.
  • Create momentum, establish credibility, and build enterprise capabilities that deliver measurable business outcomes.
