About The Position

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Client Coverage to join our Global Payments & Trade team. This role is located in New York, NY. In this role, you’ll make an impact by driving Global Payments & Trade revenue through prospecting and sourcing new client relationships and growing existing client portfolios. You will conduct comprehensive client analysis to identify trends and insights across Cash Management, Payments and Trade and develop recommendations to leverage BNY’s core solutions. You will partner across the firm to leverage relationships to proactively showcase and grow our payments solutions, and proactively build and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders. You will lead business process reviews related to sales opportunities and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to ensure full understanding of client requirements and providing an optimal client experience. You will offer strategic guidance and ideas to product managers to develop and refine solutions and offerings based on client feedback. You will address complex client challenges by collaborating with internal stakeholders to address and remediate as appropriate. You will provide thought leadership and industry expertise to clients and prospects at industry roundtables, conferences, client events, webinars and more.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 5-7+ years of total work experience preferred.
  • Payments sales or relationship management expertise – deep industry knowledge across payables, working capital optimization, cash management, liquidity, FX etc.,
  • Successful client track record
  • Stakeholder management and executive communication – ability to influence across the bank and deliver executive level communications
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business

  • Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
