About The Position

We are seeking a seasoned AV professional with deep expertise in live and hybrid audio/video production. This role is responsible for end-to-end event execution—from technical planning and programming through live operation, troubleshooting, and post‑event deliverables—while collaborating closely with stakeholders and supporting executive-level clientele.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in live event AV engineering (corporate, broadcast, or production environments).
  • Proven hands-on expertise with the equipment and platforms listed above.
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills; meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift, stage, and safely deploy AV gear, familiarity with standard safety practices.
  • Deep knowledge of live and hybrid audio engineering fundamentals, including signal flow and gain staging.
  • Programming and operation of Yamaha DM, CL, and QL series digital audio mixers.
  • Experience with Shure wireless microphone systems (programming and operation).
  • Dante audio networking (design, routing, and troubleshooting).
  • Creation and playback of VOGs and walk-up/walk-off music.
  • Deep knowledge of video fundamentals and a wide range of equipment and applications.
  • Programming and operation of PTZ cameras, including Panasonic AW‑UE150A, with AW‑RP150 controller.
  • Programming and operation of video switchers, including Blackmagic ATEM Constellation.
  • Programming and operation of Barco E2/E3 with Event Master software.
  • Operation of Elgato Stream Deck for macro control and workflow optimization.
  • Programming and operation of QLab, PlaybackPro, or similar video playback systems.
  • Video editing and graphics creation using Adobe Creative Suite applications.
  • Live camera and content switching for broadcast and in-room displays.
  • Ability to read and interpret as-built drawings and technical documentation.
  • Strong understanding of signal flow and system architecture across audio, video, and control.
  • Experience with break/fix and install/swap procedures in equipment racks.
  • Operation and troubleshooting of Q‑SYS and Crestron control systems.
  • Operation and support for Webex, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and webcast platforms such as GlobalMeet.
  • Programming and operating Cisco videoconferencing Codecs.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, set up, and operate AV systems for live and hybrid events, ensuring high-quality audio and video experiences in-room and for remote audiences.
  • Program, configure, and run digital audio consoles, video switchers, routers, controllers, and playback systems.
  • Mix FOH and broadcast audio, manage wireless systems, and maintain clean signal flow and gain structure.
  • Coordinate and operate collaboration platforms (Webex, Teams, Zoom, GlobalMeet) and Cisco video conferencing codecs.
  • Execute live camera and content switching to broadcast and in-room screens; manage run-of-show assets including VOG announcements and walk-on/off music.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Q-SYS and Crestron control systems; perform break/fix, install/swap gear in equipment racks.
  • Interpret as-built drawings and system documentation; maintain technical records and event reports.
  • Lead events with internal teams and freelance technicians; communicate clearly with executives and stakeholders under pressure.
  • Stay at the forefront of AV technology trends, evaluating and integrating emerging hardware, software, and production methodologies to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Oversee AV asset lifecycle management, including audits, procurement recommendations, and vendor relationships.
  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats—from conference room support to managing complex local and hybrid events.
  • Clear, calm, and decisive under pressure; maintains composure and professionalism with executive-level clientele.
  • Experience leading events and coordinating freelance technicians and specialists.
  • Strong client communication, event planning, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactively anticipate and mitigate risks to deliver flawless AV experiences.
  • Take full responsibility for equipment readiness, event execution, and documentation accuracy.
  • Assist the AV Operations team as needed with troubleshooting, maintaining, and validating video‑conference equipment and AV systems in production workspaces and control rooms
  • Lead equipment testing, preventive maintenance, and configuration management to maximize system reliability and longevity.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive event documentation including runbooks, equipment inventories, and operational workflows.
