About The Position

Element has an opportunity for a Vibration Technician to join its expanding team at Element Minneapolis (Bloomington), an aerospace and defense testing laboratory supporting commercial and military customers. The laboratory provides EMI, environmental, mechanical, and dynamics testing. The role supports dynamics testing and department operations, helping customers streamline qualification programs, reduce testing schedules, and simplify project coordination.

Requirements

• Technical degree (2-year or 4-year) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to transfer technical knowledge and requirements to successfully meet customer specifications.
• Physical fitness and ability to withstand challenging working conditions, including climbing stacks and handling heavy industrial equipment.
• Strong quality focus and determination to get the job done under challenging conditions.
• Self-motivated team player with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to embrace new skills and apply them in a practical context.

Responsibilities

• Set up and perform vibration tests according to customer specifications and requirements.
• Assist with and learn all aspects of work in the dynamics department.
• Assist with planning and execution of projects.
• Assist with report preparation.
• Assist with maintenance and calibration of dynamics department equipment.
• Assist with health and safety and quality standards within an accredited 17025 quality management system.
