About The Position

The Vibrant Living Assistant works in Brightview Senior Living’s Wellspring Village, which serves residents with dementia and other cognitive care needs. The role helps residents enjoy each day by getting to know them and supporting engaging, fulfilling programming across spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional areas. The assistant participates in activities such as games, painting, singing, and music, encourages residents to take part, and shares daily activities through social media, email, and newsletters.

Requirements

• Have an active driver's license in good standing.
• Have a positive attitude and a passion for helping others.
• Be able to connect with people and interested in learning about them.

Nice To Haves

• Talents such as singing, dancing, art, poetry, history, or trivia expertise.
• Experience or interests in healthcare, hospitality, activities, activity assistance, event planning, life enrichment, programming assistance, or recreation.

Responsibilities

• Get to know residents to support the planning and implementation of spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional programming.
• Participate in, organize, and run activities such as games, painting, singing, and music.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities and programs.
• Use social media, email, and newsletters to showcase daily activities.
