About The Position

The Memory Care Activity Assistant, referred to by Brightview Senior Living as a Vibrant Living Assistant, works in the Wellspring Village, which serves residents with dementia and other cognitive care needs. The role helps residents enjoy each day by getting to know them and supporting engaging, fulfilling activities and programming. The assistant participates in activities, encourages resident involvement, and shares daily events through social media, email, and newsletters.

Requirements

• Quickly connect with people and enjoy learning about them.
• Have a positive attitude and a passion for helping others.
• Hold an active driver's license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Get to know residents to support planning and implementation of spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional programming.
• Help organize and run activities such as games, painting, singing, and music, and participate in them.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities and programs.
• Use social media, email, and newsletters to showcase daily activities.
