About The Position

Garden State Veterinary Services Woodbridge is seeking Veterinary Technicians to join its emergency team. The hospital is part of a family of veterinary hospitals with a long history and a supportive, team-driven culture rooted in trust and cross-functional collaboration. The role involves providing technical support for emergency veterinary care, including anesthesia and procedures, IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, patient monitoring, diagnostics, radiology, and transfusions.

The position is located at 1200 Route 9 North, Woodbridge, NJ 07095. The schedule is Monday, Thursday, and Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Compensation is $23–$35 per hour, plus an overnight differential. Earned wages are accessible before payday through DailyPay.

Requirements

• CVT/LVT preferred, or at least 2 years of technician experience.
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Compassionate, positive, and honest, with a commitment to providing excellent care.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.

Nice To Haves

• CVT/LVT credential.
• Fluency in additional languages.

Responsibilities

• Assist with anesthesia, sedation, and procedures.
• Set up CRIs and perform medical calculations.
• Place IV catheters and manage fluid therapy.
• Monitor hospitalized patients and provide compassionate care.
• Collect diagnostic samples and maintain records.
• Position patients for radiology and follow radiology safety practices.
• Prepare blood and plasma transfusions.
