About The Position

Requirements

• Be available on Saturdays and Sundays.
• Have at least 3 years of hands-on veterinary experience in a clinical setting.
• Hold a Licensed Veterinary Technician credential (LVT, RVT, or CVT) in Georgia.
• Be confident in surgery, anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, and diagnostics.
• Have strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Be committed to low-stress, Fear-Free handling.
• Be comfortable with technology, adaptable, and motivated to grow.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgeries and dental procedures, and monitor anesthesia.
• Perform venipuncture, place IV catheters, and conduct laboratory diagnostics.
• Educate pet parents with compassion and clarity.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient histories.
• Use low-stress and Fear-Free techniques in every interaction.
• Mentor assistants and foster teamwork and excellence.
