Requirements

Prior Veterinary Technician experience
Strong technical and patient care skills
Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical support
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Compassionate and professional approach to patient and client care
Desire to continue learning and growing within the veterinary field

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians with routine appointments and surgical procedures
Collect and prepare laboratory samples for in-house and reference lab testing
Assist with radiographs and ultrasounds
Set up and monitor dental and surgical procedures
Prepare patients for surgery, including catheter placement, blood draws, and anesthesia monitoring
Sterilize and maintain surgical instruments and equipment
Prepare exam rooms and maintain accurate medical records
Provide compassionate patient care and support client communication
