About The Position

Gateway Pet Hospital is hiring an Experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant. Requirements

  • Previous veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience
  • Strong veterinary patient care and technical skills

Responsibilities

  • Anticipate the needs of our DVM team to promote efficiency and teamwork
  • Provide skilled, compassionate support during patient care and treatment
  • Take ownership of tasks and responsibilities to deliver positive outcomes
  • Ask for help when needed and offer support to teammates
  • Share your knowledge, skills, and experiences with others
  • Explore different areas of veterinary medicine to broaden your skill set
  • Participate in weekly and monthly team meetings
  • Communicate openly and collaborate with veterinarians and support staff
  • Contribute ideas that improve patient care, hospital workflows, and the team experience
