Austin Veterinary Diagnostic Hospital is Hiring a Veterinary Technician! Located in the beautiful hill country in Southwest Austin, Austin Veterinary Diagnostic Hospital puts all parts of a veterinary clinic and an animal hospital under one roof, catering to both routine and advanced care of your pets. Our clients appreciate our commitment to provide all veterinary services in one location on the same day (in most cases). We have a full suite of diagnostic technology enabling us to conduct ALL procedures in-house for client convenience. This includes a CT scan, an ultrasound machine, endoscope/arthroscope equipment, a CO2 surgical laser, a dental xray handgun, a fully equipped laboratory, and more!! The friendly, talented, and compassionate doctors and staff are trained to diagnose and treat the most difficult cases with success. AVDH has been proudly serving the Austin area for over 45 years! Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of veterinary technician experience
  • Surgery and anesthesia monitoring experience

Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians with exams, surgery, and anesthesia monitoring
  • Perform diagnostic procedures including lab work and advanced imaging
  • Provide high-quality nursing care and patient monitoring
  • Administer medications and ensure accurate treatment protocols
  • Support client communication and education
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment environment
